Head of the Private Client Department

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join our firm in West Sussex.  We are dedicated to promoting a healthy work-life balance and fostering a genuinely friendly and approachable culture. We are seeking a like-minded Private Client Lawyer with at least 5 years of PQE to join our busy and productive department.

The Role

In this role, you will lead a thriving Private Client team of 12 staff, including 7 fee earners. The department handles a variety of matters such as Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate Administration, and Court of Protection.  In addition to overseeing the department, you will also manage your own caseload of Private Client matters. Active involvement in business development and marketing is also expected.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years PQE. Managerial or supervisory experience is preferable, and having STEP or working towards it would be highly advantageous. We offer excellent career prospects, with the opportunity to progress to board level.
