At Owen Kenny, we have adapted our usual procedures so you can continue to give us your instruction to make a Will. Rachel Cook (firstname.lastname@example.org), fee-earner in our Private Client team, explains the process:
“As clients are at home, we set up a video meeting (either by Zoom, WhatsApp or Skype) to take the instructions. We may have sent out a Will questionnaire previously (or clients may just want to make changes to their existing Wills); we then send out drafts by email or post. When a client has approved the Will, we either send out the engrossed Will (with instructions on how to sign) and request that they make a video appointment where we will go through the Will with them to ensure they understand everything. The meeting ends; the client gets the Will signed in front of witnesses (who could be neighbours). The Will is then dropped back to us for checking and storing; we send a client copies to keep at home. If a client is unable to get witnesses of their own (ie after the video meeting where I have explained the Will to them), myself and a colleague will go out to witnesses”.
Please call us on 01243 532777 or email email@example.com<mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org> to start the process; Rachel Cook is part of our Private Client team and fee-earners Imogen Manual, David Thornton, Julie Jones, Emily Allchurch are also able to take instructions for your Will.
