How to find out if your property is registered

HM Land Registry holds records about most property or land sold in England or Wales since 1993, including the title register, title plan and title summary. Click here to find out more.

If you do not have a copy of your Land Registry documents, you can check on the GOV.UK website. Simply navigate to the “land and property information” search page and enter your postcode. You can also search by street or town. If your title is registered, then it will be listed on the website.
