World Alzheimer’s Day

This international campaign, observed every year on 21st September, aims to raise awareness and challenges the stigma surrounding Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Staff from Owen Kenny have booked Dementia Supporter Awareness sessions this month at our local charity, Sage House*, to refresh knowledge and understanding. The session includes "a range of helpful topics to help people be more aware and compassionate about dementia".
